Officers charged are all constables with 51 division in Toronto -

Sameer Kara

Age range of accused officers - 28 to 38 years. This case has been 'under investigation' since 17 Jan 2015 - an off duty 'incident' at the Westin Harbour Castle Hotel in Toronto. The victim is a parking enforcement officer.

All 3 officers face charges of sexual assault and gang sexual assault.

Sickening.

Police Chief Bill Blair said he would also not be making any further comment on the investigation as the matter is before the courts.

Find Blair's comment on no further comment regarding his constables interesting - many will recall Blair's investigation into previous Toronto Mayor Rob Ford (thread on WS exists). Blair stood before TV cameras and stated 'I'm disappointed' (speaking on RF). Blair laid no charges against Ford even though he claimed to have drug deals with RF on camera. This comment by Blair on Rob Ford sparked an unprecedented frenzy that included late night jokes on US TV.

So Blair - are you disappointed in your 3 constables on the sexual assault and gang sexual assault charges against your 3 constables? They have been charged (unlike RF) - surely you have a comment. Surely you are as disappointed in your 3 constables as you were RF?
