GUILTY UT - Lindsay Holbrook, 32, murdered in her Washington Terrace apt, 26 Feb 2015

In a Saturday afternoon press conference, the Weber County Sheriff’s Office says 38-year-old Lyle Robert London was found driving a vehicle belonging to Holbrook which was involved in a hit-and-run on Friday evening. Authorities tried to make contact with the woman in her unit at the Woodland Cove Apartments, 374 East Ridgeline Drive, in Washington Terrace.

When they weren’t able to make contact with the woman, they entered her home early Saturday morning and found her body inside the apartment with signs of trauma. They don’t know how long she’d been inside the home, and say her body had been desecrated.

The woman told police that her husband had told her that he planned to kill Holbrook, take her credit cards and financial information, and use the money to move both of them and their children to California by RV.

Court documents do not explain how Lyle London knew the victim. But Weber County Attorney Christopher Allred said that at the time of Holbrook's death, Lyle London was being investigated for unlawful use of a credit card, and that the credit card was Holbrook's.

Lyle Robert London, 38, was found dead in his cell just before 4 p.m. Saturday after he apparently hanged himself, the Weber County Sheriff's Office reported. London was being house in a maximum security unit as he awaited sentencing...

On June 15, London pleaded guilty to brutally suffocating and beating 32-year-old Lindsay Holbrook.

Shuree Laness London, 35, pleaded guilty in August to a reduced charge of obstructing justice, a third-degree felony...

She was sentenced Monday to a year in jail and three years of probation.
