An Austrian bank is hoping to make its staff more productive by making them take daily 20 minute naps.
According to neurologist and sleep scientist Manfred Walzl, one third of all inhabitants of the Alpine republic suffer from sleep disorders.
He said the consequences of the disorders are "sleepiness at the workplace and a higher amount of mistakes."
Walzl is now heading the study at the Sparkasse bank in Steiermark where employees are taking 20 minute naps after lunch to see how it affects their productivity.
