High Desert deputies seek missing woman
LUCERNE VALLEY >> Sheriff's deputies said Wednesday they are searching for a woman who was last seen leaving her house March 2.

Krystie Stuart, 29, was wearing a camouflage hat, white shirt, black pants and white shoes when she left her Lucerne Valley home for an appointment in Apple Valley that Monday, said the Sheriff's Department in a statement.

Deputies found her pickup truck in the desert north of Apple Valley on Sunday.

OK, this is the best of the articles so far and makes it seem that although Krystie is missing she may not have been abducted (let's hope so!):
"UPDATE 3/10/15: On Sunday, March 8, 2015 the white pick-up truck belonging to Krystie was recovered by the Sheriff’s Department in the town of Apple Valley. No further details are available at this time.

Many residents have reported sightings of Krystie through out various parts of the Victor Valley. Even if you think you see her please contact 760-248-7328."

I really do wonder. I mean they even look a little bit alike. Granted, not the best looking pictures for sure, but I do wonder.

This article I posted above makes me think the 2 disappearances may not be related:

Oh my - this isn't looking good. Sounds like she's bipolar, or at the very least experiencing withdrawal from her psych medications. I've been there and it's no fun, to say the least. I wonder what a pre-existing condition would be that would prevent a dentist from treating her, though. If it has to do with anesthesia, she would have known beforehand and gotten a ride to the dentist instead of driving herself. And usually, the dentist's office will ask you these questions first so you aren't wasting your and their time making an appointment, only to find out that you can't be treated that day. Very strange.

Bumping this up!
...I'm surprised that with all the supposed sightings she hasn't been found....

I don't know....maybe antibiotics for mitral valve prolapse? And maybe they reminded her but she didn't follow through due to her mental state?

She is incredibly skinny and I cannot help but think she had a huge weight loss in relation to being weaned off psych meds. I will never understand why a treating physician has a patient with a lifetime, chronic disease but wants to take them off medicine. I understand the patients may or may not take the prescribed meds, but the doctor is supposed to have more knowledge and sound judgment.

Has anyone seen any other information on this? Is there anything more specific about where her truck was found other than..."in the desert" outside of Apple Valley? TIA

The last anyone heard from the Lucerne Valley couple’s 29-year-old daughter Krystie was at 4:21 p.m. on March 3. Krystie, who lives with her parents, contacted a friend after having issues at a dental appointment at Jess Ranch Dental near Best Buy in Apple Valley. Her friend expected Krystie to come over to spend the night.

The dental office said that Krystie wasn’t in an appropriate frame of mind for a dental appointment, so her visit was canceled.

Several personal items that the parents wouldn’t expect to be left behind were found in the truck. “No fingerprints were taken,” her father said. “The truck was contaminated by the tow truck driver.”

One official searcher took a bloodhound, but the dog was unable to pick up a scent. “It was quite a few days after they found the truck,” the mother said.

“We had the blood hounds out around the dentist office they tracked her scent to bed bath and beyond into the bathroom back out to the back of the store parking lot. Dr Harvey said that she did not leave the parking lot on foot or in her own vehicle, if she had, the dogs would have tracked her out of the parking lot. Her scent ended in the back of the store parking lot.” added Virgina, who is deeply concerned for her daughter’s well-being.

Also, Help Find Krystie is holding a candlelight awareness vigil for her, on her 30th birthday, Monday, April 13.

Lucerne Valley to hold vigil for missing woman

LUCERNE VALLEY — Five weeks after Krystie Stuart, 29, disappeared following a dentist appointment in Apple Valley, her family and other concerned locals have taken matters into their own hands.
San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department officials have deemed Stuart a voluntary missing person. Five days after Stuart's disappearance on March 3, deputies found her car in rural north Apple Valley. The car was towed and searched for evidence, but Stuart's mother, Ginger Stuart, said no evidence of foul play was found. She said that fingerprints from the vehicle were not taken until weeks after the car was recovered and no items inside were kept for evidence. She said that her daughter's case has been treated as a voluntary missing person "since day one."
"The only thing they've told us is that there was no evidence of foul play, there was no blood," Ginger Stuart said. But she and others in the community refuse to believe that Krystie Stuart intentionally left without a trace.
