The skeletal remains of an adult female were found in an abandoned home in the city of Detroit. The house had been burned in 2008 and it appeared that the body was left there sometime after the fire.

She had a healing fracture to her cheekbone... I'm going to go ahead and guess that this is probably domestic violence related.

But it's a good thing we know that she's only been there for seven years at the most. Makes searching a lot easier.

I'm going to go ahead and look through Charley and namus and then make a list of people it could be.

Also, do we know if it's dyed blonde or natural? I saw nothing on namus, but if it hits a local news article then they might elaborate.

I think Rachel Conger would be ruled out just based on the metal implant in her jaw. But good eye!

I'm wondering if the police are looking at the possibility of it being Stacy Peterson, she is a fairly high profile case.

Ack! I just realized that they don't have an estimated height on the Jane Doe.

Alright. So this is just from places that are nearby. I'm aware that she could be from anywhere but I figured it was unlikely. I wish we had a more comprehensive list of missing Canadians considering Detroit is actually North of a portion of Canada. None of these missing people say that they have breast implants on their pages, but there could be a lot of reasons why one would be found with breast implants and not have it listed

Some of these woman caught my eye too. I agree on the domestic violence angle. At first I thought she died in the abandoned house (overdose or whatnot), but the wording in Namus makes it sound like her body was "left" there.

I found a possible address for Jacqlin Nelson and it's about 15 minutes drive, pretty straight shot on the freeway.

Natural hair color is brown, she was known to dye her hair blonde and her hair was shoulder length blonde at the time last seen.

Here's someone with long naturally blonde hair and breast implants who was reported missing from Colorado in January 2014. There's a possible (but not verified) sighting of her last month, but otherwise she seems like a possibility:

she went missing on 2005 but she was last contacted by family in 2003 and the 2005 contact was by police so being out of touch at least until 2008 seems like a possibility.
