Well, I guess there is no question where this guy got his lack of decency. No wonder he murdered someone and fled. Way to go, Dad.

By by the way, an American cop in Mexico is like chum for the sharks. Might as well offer him up to ISIS because the Mexican gangs are just as barbaric and evil.

No TGI-he will be seen as a hero. He's a turncoat in US LE but is loyal to his roots- he will be well protected. His padre saw to that. Evil can camouflage many ways.
Border Patrol and Texas Rangers will bring him in eventually.

Calling fugitive ex-LAPD officer Henry Solis "armed and dangerous," FBI officials Friday offered a $25,000 reward for information leading to his arrest in connection with a Pomona nightclub slaying.

Authorities are centering their search on El Paso, Texas, and Juarez, Mexico, where Solis has a network of family and friends on both sides of the border, said FBI special agent Scott Garriola with the FBI/LAPD fugitive task force.

Last known to be in El Paso, but know he may well be somewhere other than Texas (possibly another state) but that Mexico is probably most likely.

He has contacts there, has been there before, and speaks Spanish, and emphasized it'd be easy for him.

Authorities consider Solis to be armed and dangerous, and Garriola said he may be in possession of "several weapons."

Solis served in the Marines as an embassy guard in several countries but not in Mexico, Garriola said. He did not say where Solis served.

Said they're not sure what his "never be seen again" comment means:

"Now what that means is up for anybody's guess," Garriola said. "It could mean he is going to try and hide or going to try and kill himself.

"Being a former law enforcement officer and having to possibly face a prison sentence, one may be suicidal," he said.

Garriola would not say if Solis fled California with his passport, extra money or credit cards.

I think it should probably mean "COULD not say" (about the passport, etc.) based on what he actually seems to have said:

"Whether or not he thought about that in those few hours after the murder and before he went on the run, that's anybody's guess," he said. "It's been a week and we will see how well he planned his escape."

The search for a rookie Los Angeles Police Department officer suspected of homicide has expanded into an international manhunt, focused on the border cities of El Paso, Texas, and Ciudad Juarez, Mexico.

This seems to be hinting they're looking beyond Mexico now also...but focusing on Mexico and border towns primarily.

"The pattern suggests he crossed into Mexico, but he has family and friends living in El Paso and Ciudad Juarez," said Scott Garriola, special FBI agent who runs the fugitive task force from the Los Angeles Bureau. "So he could be on either side of the border."

"It's a quick bus ride from the interior of Mexico to other parts of the country and Central America."

Anticipating he may have changed his look so disseminating multiple looks in photos:

Authorities posted three photos of Solis, with and without facial hair, and said he may now have a full beard.
