MO - O'Fallon teen planned kidnap, rape of friend's 10yo sister
A Missouri high school student obsessed over his friend’s 10-year-old sister abducted her from her home Thursday and planned to rape her, police said. Authorities rescued the girl about 35 minutes later with nothing more than bruises, her 18-year-old brother told the St. Louis Post-Dispatch.
John Thomas Classen, 17, was charged with child kidnapping, burglary and two counts of child abuse. His bail was set at $1.5 million.
The abductor and the girl’s brother had been friends for about five years and were classmates at the high school they both attended.
Last summer, his friend sent a message to his sister over social media that said he thought she was cute and that he loved her, her brother said. “I took it in the best possible way and thought he was just being friendly,” he said. But Classen had sinister intentions...
A list authorities found on his cellphone said he was going to break into the home and make the girl come with him. “Take her to a secondary location, explain everything to her, smother her, rape her dead body, clean up and then pose the body… photograph her, dispose of her body, leave town”...
According to police, Classen broke into the girl’s home in the 100 block of McCluer Drive about 12:40 a.m. He got in through a window he had deliberately left unlocked two days earlier... He waited in the basement for 4˝ hours before going up to the main level, where the girl was asleep on the couch... The girl’s mother saw the teen and her daughter behind the house, and she called 911.

I kind of wish the brother would stop responding to comments. So glad they found her!
