From 1994:

A Jersey City woman, her 4-year-old daughter and a 14-year-old girl were found shot to death yesterday in the woman's apartment... The victims were identified as Barbara Curry, a 27-year-old employee of the city's Division of Youth and Family Services; her daughter, Bianca, and Felicia Council, a sister of Mrs. Curry's boyfriend, Robert Council.

The police said their bodies were discovered at 4:45 P.M. by Mr. Council and a neighbor. The police said Mrs. Curry was on the living-room floor and Ms. Council was on the couch. The daughter was found shot to death in the bathroom, her body stuffed in the toilet bowl...

Residents of Lafayette Gardens, the three-story, 500-unit apartment complex where Mrs. Curry lived, said she returned home at 9:30 A.M. after dropping Mr. Council at his workplace. The police said her apartment keys were still in her hand when her body was examined.

From last month:

Public's help sought in solving 1994 Jersey City triple murder

The Jersey City triple-murder of a woman, her daughter and another young girl has remained unsolved for more than two decades -- and for the family, the wound remains unhealed.

"I hope the Prosecutor's Office is still investigating the case and reviewing the evidence because it is still unsolved," Jersey City Councilwoman-at-Large Joyce Watterman said today of the Feb. 7, 1994 murders of her sister-in-law Barbara Waterman, 28; Waterman's daughter Bianca Wilson, 4, and Felicia Council, 14.

Watterman, who spells her last name differently than Barbara, said "fresh eyes" on a cold case can make a difference, and noted that "technology has changed." But the councilwoman declined to say more because the murders remain a source of great pain for the family.
