    LA - Megan Lejeune, 19, Greenwood, 17 March 2015

Police need help in search for pregnant missing woman
Update: Ashley Noble, spokeswoman for the Greenwood Police Department, addressed reader concerns about publicizing this information. "We decided to put this out. We need you to have it out," she said. Greenwood Police are asking for the public's help in locating a missing woman. Authorities are trying to track down a pregnant woman who was allegedly abducted in Greenwood overnight. Investigators were told that Megan Lejeune was taken between 1 a.m. and 7 a.m. Tuesday from Larry Lane. Megan's cell phone, which was also found in a nearby ditch, has been receiving death threats via text messages.

One of the text messages stated that the alleged suspect was driving a green Suburban and another text message stated she was in a wooden area that was unknown to her. The pregnant woman was last seen wearing a gray sweatshirt, black Aeropostle sweat pants, and turquoise cowboy boots.

The victim allegedly said via text message not to call the phone she was texting from because it would make the suspect mad and he would kill her, himself and her unborn child.

Before you criticize someone, you should walk a mile in their shoes. That way, when you criticize them, you're a mile away and you have their shoes.

"When from a long distant past nothing persists, after the people are dead, after things are broken and scattered, still alone, more persistent, more faithful, the smell and taste of things remain poised a long, long time like souls, ready to remind us, waiting, hoping for their moment amid the ruins of all the rest, and bear unfaltering in the tiny and almost impalpable drop of their essence the vast structure of recollection."

So scary! Someone has to know who took her, if she'd been getting threats for a while.

I wonder if maybe she just found out she was pregnant and the baby's dad wasn't too thrilled.

Could baby daddy not be so happy about the pregnancy? Threatening texts?! Uh very scary

This article below says that detectives have pinged her cellphone and it shows Megan to be somewhere in the area of Elysian Fields Rd. How far is this from where she was taken at Larry Lane? Authorities also believe that Megan knows her alleged abductor.

Could be 3-4 miles or a bit more depending where on those roads. This is an odd one.

Why does it say her phone was "also found in a ditch"? Was something else found in a ditch? Or just poor writing?
    Just my opinion, of course.

Ksla.com has a slightly better article and video - story will be on at 10. I'm willing to bet it was bad writing/editing and nothing else was found.

    Yikes! How scary!

The fact that it's at least not a gray/silver/black Suburban at least should help - green would be a little less common (in most places at least) than those three tend be. Hopefully someone might be more inclined to remember seeing a green one...or knowing someone who drives one.

Updated. Missing Greenwood woman seen in Shreveport:

    http://www.shreveporttimes.com/story...oman/24919783/

"Megan Lejeune was seen in Shreveport at some point today alive but "she was scared and ran," according to police."

    This is getting weird.

Goodness. I'll be interested to see if any charges are filed. This certainly looked like it was clearly an abduction - now it looks staged for attention.

And not pregnant, either! Girl has a great imagination, and no control over it. She needs help.

This is what they're charging her with at this point:

Lejeune is being held at the Caddo Correctional Center where she is charged with terrorizing and criminal mischief.

Wow - some cases seem like they might go this way.

This was NOT one I expected it from! Especially that the whole thing was fake, not just the abduction!
