Luck of the Irish deserts Indiana teen on St Patrick's Day
An Indiana teen purchased an entire keg of beer to celebrate St Patrick's Day.
Sadly for him, he forgot to fasten his tailgate properly when transporting it home. Not only did it roll out, but police retrieved it.
They cited the teen for illegally transporting an alcoholic beverage, because he's 18 and the legal age there is 21.
I'm not smiling at the teen's misfortune/foolishness - it's just brought back memories of me walking along a country road in Ireland and the contents of a deceased person's house scattering out the back of a truck in front of me, with the driver oblivious. There was a gentle rain as usual, and it was very green. There was a beautiful antique wicker chair and I couldn't persuade him not to take it to the trash dump.
Hope this teen gets to visit Ireland one day. He'll feel right at home, for sure.
