GUILTY Sweden - Two killed, 8 injured in Gothenburg pub shooting, 19 March 2015

Two men armed with automatic weapons have opened fire inside a bar in Gothenburg, Sweden. Initial reports say there are several victims and the weapons are thought to be kalashnikovs.

An eyewitness told tabloid Aftonbladet that two people entered the pub in the Gothenburg suburb of Biskopsgaarden with weapons that looked like Kalashnikovs and started shooting.

"We were sitting watching the football game when the shooters came in," the witness said.

December 2016:
At least seven men were in some way involved in the gang-related shooting, and were sentenced for this, and for several other murders, and attempted murders, to between 12 years and lifetime in prison. As it could not be proven who had done the killings in the pub murder, the men were sentenced for being accessory to murder, or accessory to attempted murder, in that case.

There have been a "gang war" going on in Gothenburg's suburbs for a long time now, it's about drug sales, and many of those involved are immigrants, or children to immigrants. (The same is going on in Stockholm and Malmö.) Much of the weapons used in crimes in Sweden are weapons that have found their way there after the Bosnian war.

Here's an interview with one of the men sentenced to life in jail. Among the dead in the retaliations after the pub shooting are two young children, a cousin of the man interviewed, and the daughter of a man considered as the leader of one of the gangs. One of the men killed in the pub shooting was an innocent bystander.
