Senior comes out fighting to save her dog

When a coyote jumped her fence and attacked her small dog in Highlands Ranch, Colorado, senior Nettie Blanco leapt into action. She swung at the coyote, badly bruising her hand but managing to save her pet.

Her nine-year-old shiatsu Sammy is recovering well after surgery.

Blanco said she will never forget seeing her dog get attacked.

“Even when I’m mad at my husband, I’ve never felt what I felt that day,” she said.

Glad she wasn't hurt, and probably not the safest thing to do no matter your age, but love for your pets can make you do crazy things!
