This woman was a good friend of someone I went to high school with. I thought the dedicated sleuths here might be interested in digging through this case. I never knew Errin, but from what I've seen on FaceBook, she's very loved.

From that link:
On Wednesday, March 11, officers responded to a home on Ashbury Drive where they found the body of 36-year-old Errin Hawkes.

Hawkes’ cause of death is still being determined but detectives are currently investigating her death as “suspicious.”

From what I understand from reading the articles, the couple had been to a bar on Tuesday night. Then on Wed after 5Pm the husband came home from work and found his wife dead. The death is thought to be suspicious but no signs of violence. So is LE thinking something was slipped into Errin's drink at the bar? They came home, went to bed and she never woke up? Husband goes to work in AM while wife is still sleeping... comes home and she's dead?

Police are asking anyone who was at Shooters Billiards and Sports Bar in Cedar Park on Tuesday, March 10 between the hours of 9 p.m. and 1 a.m., to please contact LPD at 512-528-2849.

Her husband called 911 around 5:15 p.m. March 11 to report a dead woman in a home along the 300 block of Ashbury Drive.

Not much information in the articles, however, my questions would be 1) is he sure she was just asleep when he left for work and 2) what position was her body in when he left for work and when he came home? Had she moved at all? Was she sleeping on her stomach with her head buried in the pillow and possibly suffocated (a possibility if she was intoxicated when they came home from the bar)? If something had been slipped into her drink while at the bar, wouldn't the effect be almost immediate and he would have noticed something wrong when they went home? Or did he assume she just had too much to drink?

It does appear with LE's interest in the bar that they suspect something happened there.

Suspicious does not always equal murdered. Have they said she was murdered?

Not that I am aware of according to the articles. Agree, and suspicious could be due to her age...most people 36 years old without a prior medical condition don't just die in their sleep.

One of the articles said that police were investigating her murder, but I see now that it's been updated to also say "suspicious death."

I'm just getting odd vibes from the way police are wording things, if that makes sense? Also, from her friends' facebook pages, I'm getting the impression they think something is up. That's just my opinion, though.

Where are they saying that the husband was at the billiard with her? I'm just curious because I can't find that article. Also, is there an article where LE thinks something was slipped into her drink? Thanks in advance!

Thank you, Colette! Thanks for the link, also. I never watch the videos, i thought the article would have all the details! Boy, was I wrong! The policeman said they don't believe there is any danger to the public outside the home... Then why are they asking if anyone was at Shooter's that night?

I don't think this article has been posted yet -- it's just another little article. Please forgive if it's already out there.

I hope an autopsy has been done by now, or at least is in process. It is possible that she died a natural death -- she could have had a heart problem that had not been discovered, or a brain aneurism that hemorrhaged during her sleep. Things like that do happen from time to time. If that is the case, I'm sure that MSM will post it right away.

Just sayin' it's possible...

bbm (bold by me)

For a first post, Lady, you did a great job! The very good MSM references and your personal connection have given all of us a good start on this sad case.

Welcome to Websleuths, and keep on posting!

Quite true, and often medical conditions such as those go undetected until it is too late as many people Errin's age wouldn't be regularly seeing a physician to undergo a battery of tests. Curious why there haven't been updates on this since the COD should have been determined long ago.
