“Bump” For An Update...

This is just plain disgusting! The man who molested our daughter and his own daughter was a worship leader at the church we belonged to for 8 years. He got 2 felony convictions for what he did. He did no jail time and continued to be a worship leader at the church, so we moved on to a different church. The perp had counseling and treatment and was supposedly rehabilitated. Then this year he was arrested and charged with having over 2,000 child *advertiser censored* photos on his computer, some depicting violence against children. So, he was convicted and is now serving 12 years in a federal prison with a sex offender treatment program. He offered to be chemically castrated if he could go to that prison instead of a state prison where he feared that he would be a victim of violence. The guy just didn't learn from his first conviction. It's like an addiction, I guess. He had a lot to lose too. He was a well paid engineer at GM, had a beautiful home and a sweet wife, and 2 great kids who were honor students. And he caused himself to lose it all. He also hurt his family a lot (and ours). His second offense made the national news all over the US due to his offer to be chemically castrated. I don't know if they took him up on that part or not. The man who molested me from age 5 to 12 was a church leader too and he had also raped his own daughters and one other woman. Just because someone is a church leader or member doesn't mean it's safe to have your children around the person. A lot of pedophiles hang out in churches where they have access to children and are likely to be trusted.
