TX - Andrew 'Drew' Eisenman, 28, shot to death, Spring, 27 May 2004
A former Spring teacher accused of fatally shooting her estranged husband was frantic when she called her younger sister for help on the night of his death, jurors learned Wednesday.
Jenny Harvey Eisenman, 27, who is charged with murder in the slaying of Westfield High School coach Andrew "Drew" Eisenman, told her sister she had "a plan," testimony revealed. Eisenman also said she wished she could make it appear her husband died in an accident, even though he had been shot six times, jurors were told.
"She said she wished (his) truck could look like an accident, and she would not be blamed," Eisenman's sister, Carrie Harvey, 24, testified Wednesday.
The Eisenmans were in the midst of a divorce when Drew Eisenman was shot at his estranged wife's Spring apartment on the night of May 27, 2004.

Why is it that when a custodial parent fails to provide for a child it is called neglect and is a criminal matter. But when a non custodial parent fails to provide it is called failure to support and is a civil matter?

From August 2005:
A former Spring elementary schoolteacher was sentenced to 23 years in prison Friday for the murder of her estranged husband.
Jenny Harvey Eisenman, 27, closed her eyes and appeared shaken as she heard the sentence. She will have to serve at least half of it before she can become eligible for parole.
