A cybersex fiend — possibly a lover she met online — may have murdered the 18-year-old beauty found smothered and naked in her Staten Island bedroom, police said yesterday after seizing the teen's three computers.
Raven-haired victim Aliza Parsy loved to surf the Internet and make friends online, law-enforcement sources said.

Now, her Web habit is the main avenue of investigation as probers pore over her computer records in hopes of unraveling the baffling murder mystery.

Investigators think the teen may have been attacked Wednesday by one of the people she met sitting at her keyboard and may have died during a rough sexual encounter gone wrong — which would explain why her body is free of any defensive wounds.

She claims that she was gang raped in May after passing out from drinking. Where was this kid's parents? It looks as if this kid had no supervision.

I agree she seemed to be living a risky lifestyle at a very young age.
Did you notice she had 3 computers? Why would she have needed 3 computers?

Apparently she told LE that she drank 10 shots of booze in 30 minutes, passsed out(no kidding) and was gang raped.

After an investigation, LE concluded that the sex was consenual and/or they or she were unwilling to persue charges.

Unfortunately, when a child plays with fire it can have dire consequences.

I feel for the family of this girl, I really do. What a waste of life.

Normally tranquil Rupert Avenue was clogged with emergency vehicles Wednesday night, after Miss Parsy's body was found nude underneath a mattress, a pillowcase wrapped around her head.

Police initially suspected a burglary that escalated to rape and murder, but now think it may have been rough sex that turned tragic. Tests indicate the young woman had sex shortly before she died.

There have been allegations from friends and police that Miss Parsy had gone to Internet chat rooms looking for men, and had an active sex life. Police confiscated her computer to examine the hard drive.

"At a time like this, I don't want to hear things like that," her mother said.

Mrs. Parsy denied knowledge of a date-rape complaint her daughter filed earlier this year with the 25th Precinct in Manhattan, but vowed to follow up with police.

Her daughter was a "normal teen-age girl" who spent time chatting on the phone and going out with friends, she said.

"I'm the last one to know about these things, and I'm her mother," said Mrs. Parsy. "She was home a lot, but of course she went out on the weekends."

She didn't speculate on her daughter's former boy friend, whom relatives forced away from the funeral service in Brooklyn on Thursday, but noted that he had been questioned and released by police.

Meanwhile, police have no suspects in the killing.

"No, no," said Mrs. Parsy, her gaze drifting away and toward the floor. "I wish I knew."

Sources said the leading theory in the death is that Parsy was killed - accidentally or on purpose - during consensual intercourse, perhaps with someone she met online.

Burglary appeared unlikely as a motive, police said. No property was stolen although some cash may have disappeared.

"Nothing was taken. They just left a mess," said Sima Parsy, 52, the teen's Israeli-born mother. "They only took the most precious thing I had."

Parsy was buried yesterday in Jerusalem, where her father lives. Her mom was sitting shiva, the Jewish seven-day mourning period, at her Rupert Ave. home in Staten Island's Willowbrook section.

The police were still investigating various scenarios, including the involvement of a former boyfriend.

But investigators believe Parsy died after arranging a liaison on the Internet, and sources said yesterday that the tragedy may not have been an intentional killing.

"They are casting a wide net on this and refuse to rule anything out completely," said a law enforcement source, who added that no arrest was imminent.

A Brooklyn man was arrested Tuesday morning and charged with suffocating his 18-year-old half-sister and stuffing her naked body under a mattress in her Staten Island home, police said.

Raviv Gabbay, 27, was charged with second-degree murder, burglary, robbery and criminal possession of stolen property, police said.

She must have had something he wanted. Excluding her life which he didn't value.

She walked in on him while he was robbing the house. I saw it on my local news this evening.

:waitasec: Did she walk in naked? How'd she get naked? He killed her because she caught him robbing the house? How does that make any kind of logical sense? I murdered my sister so she wouldn't tattle on me for robbing, oh and BTW, I didn't like the outfit she was wearing. :banghead:

ETA: Oh this story just gets better and better ... he says it was SELF DEFENSE. He just wanted to talk to her, but she mistook him as a burglar and there was a struggle. This all just happened as she got out of the shower.

Under questioning, Gabbay told detectives his sister, who was found under a mattress with a pillowcase over her face, mistook him for a thief when she stepped out of the shower, police sources said.

"There was a struggle," Assistant District Attorney Wanda DeOliveira said during the arraignment of Gabbay, who was held without bail on second-degree murder and burglary charges Tuesday. "Aliza fought. He was scratched repeatedly and in response to that he suffocated Aliza Parsy."

DeOliveira said Gabbay went to the family's home on Rupert Avenue in the Willowbrook section to steal money. After he killed his sister, he "fled the home and continued his delivery route for the day," she said.

Estranged from the family for a year, Gabbay was furious because he thought his mom had cut him out of a land deal and had stashed cash in her home, prosecutors said.

Believing no one was home, Gabbay rummaged through the home but was caught by surprise when Aliza Parsy got out of the shower and confronted him, cops said.

The petite teen, who had been getting ready for work, punched and clawed at her 5-foot-9, 210-pound half brother, leaving a cut above his eye, cops said.

"In response, he suffocated Aliza Parsy to death," prosecutor Wanda DeOliveira said. "He fled the home and continued his delivery route for that day."

Aliza Parsy was left under a mattress with a pillow on her face and a cordless phone in the tub. Cops said Gabbay stole a few gold trinkets before his mom came home and called the cops

Gabbay faces up to 25 years to life in prison if convicted. He was ordered held without bail.

Police Commissioner Raymond Kelly and Staten Island District Attorney Daniel Donovan praised detectives for nabbing Gabbay.

"The detectives left no stone unturned and followed every lead," Donovan said.

Investigators duped Gabbay, an Israeli citizen, into coming to the 122nd Precinct stationhouse Monday, leading him to believe they needed his help.

In Midwood, where Gabbay lives with his wife and 2-week-old baby, relatives were reluctant to speak.

"He's not a murderer," said a woman leaving his house.

Prosecutors told Sima Parsy yesterday that it was her son who had murdered her daughter last month, and as she sat in a Staten Island courtroom she did not hide her misery.

She screamed, first in Hebrew, and then in English. "Why? Why? "Why?" she demanded, as officers escorted her son, Raviv Gabbay, 27, into the courtroom. He is accused of killing his half sister, Aliza Parsy, 18, in her Staten Island home on Aug. 10.

Agar, who works at the kosher pizzeria on Victory, said the slaying brought back memories of the 2005 murder of Aliza Parsy, who was killed down the block from his Rupert Avenue home in Sea View — a neighborhood settled by a cluster of Orthodox Jewish families who had moved from Brooklyn nearly 40 years ago.

Ms. Parsy, 18, was suffocated by her half-brother, 27-year-old Raviv Gabbay of Brooklyn, who came across her when he broke into his mother’s house, prosecutors said, to burn his mother’s money in a fit of rage. Gabbay was sentenced to 18 years in prison in 2006.
