CT - Angelica Moquete, 15, East Granby, 10 April 2015

Angelica Moquete, 15, was last seen Friday at about 7 a.m. and her parents reported her missing at 9:14 p.m. She may have gotten into a four-door grey or silver sedan. It's unknown who may be driving the car.

State police initially said she was possibly heading to Fashion Week in Brooklyn, but they now think she might be in the Boston area.

She is described as a Hispanic female who is 5-foot-6, 110 pounds and who has brown hair and brown eyes. She was wearing a white hooded sweatshirt with an Eiffel Tower image and the word, Paris on it, rose-patterned black leggings and black boots when she was last seen.

Police say Moquette may have entered a dark-colored four-door sedan, headed to either New York or Massachusetts. Their investigation now leads them to believe she could be in the Boston or Springfield areas.

What does this mean? That she was found or that she is not eligible for the Silver Alert? (Aren't Silver Alerts for senior citizens?)

That is a very good question. I have no idea. Anyone know?

In Connecticut, silver alerts are used when children (or adults with mental disabilities or adults over a certain age) go missing. The distinction between an amber and silver alert is that when amber alerts are used, it is believed that the child is in eminent danger.

    found safe: http://patch.com/connecticut/granby-...ender-arrested

State Police investigators found her on April 15 in an apartment building at 33 Rowe Ave in Hartford with registered sex offender Jonathan Gonzalez, 23, police said.

She was there of her own volition, but Gonzalez had violated conditions of his probation by having unsupervised contact with a minor, police said.

He was taken to Troop H and charged with violation of probation. He was held in lieu of $1 million bail. Additional charges are likely.
