An apparent dead body was spotted by hikers about 150 yards north of the Chain Bridge this afternoon. The body is said to be located on the rocks, close to the Potomac River.

Rescue workers could not immediately reach the body, as it is in a remote area that is not easily accessible. Crews failed to reach the area by boat and are trying to rappel down a cliff side to reach the area.

The above Arlnow.com link have updated their story with some identifying details but not much else...
Photos viewed by ARLnow.com, taken from a distance, show that the victim was a light-skinned male. He appeared to be bleeding from the head and holding a dark object in his hand.
This quote along with the Wash Post story make it sound like there is still doubt as to whether the victim is alive or deceased?!?

I could not locate any news updates, and no unidentified for this found date in Namus. Does anyone know of updates since 2015?
