making severed limbs out of prison food to taunt inmates

prison and would clash with many other prisoners. He said he
would taunt fellow inmates and prison officers by fashioning limbs
from pieces of food and drizzling ketchup so it would look like blood.

Scarver -- great name, innit, for someone who himself killed a cannibal? -- is perhaps not the most reliable of narrator, in spite of his starring role in the tale at hand.

Fine tabloid readin' though -- no complaints from me!

Scary, its the stuff of nightmares. From Scarver's account, Dahmer wasn't remorseful about his killing of so many innocent men. I recall interviews he gave where he expressed his regrets. He was a true sociopath.

This is a strange chapter in a strange story. Christopher Scarver, Jeffrey Dahmer and Jesse Anderson were all left alone together. Scarver confronts Dahmer about his fashioning fake limbs out of food and covering them with catsup. Apparently the confrontation did not go so well because Scarver kills Dahmer with a metal bar.

At some later point in time, and for possibly unrelated reasons, Scarver also kills Anderson with a metal bar.

Depending on your outlook on punishment, it sounds like someone needs to 1., set Scarver up with some more metal bars and some serial child molesters, or, 2., get a hold of the metal bar situation at that prison.

Also, Scarver has poetry books available via Amazon.
