attempted murder conspiracy/poisonous plant
The attempted murder charge alleges that Stuart Shader, 34, took a significant step toward killing his ex-wife, Shona Davis. The solicitation charge alleges that he asked his girlfriend, Shawna Nelson, to do the killing.
Sometime in late April, Shader became angry over an ongoing court battle with Davis and told Nelson that Davis was trying to ruin him, according to the arrest affidavit. When he and Nelson went to a local bar to talk, Shader told Nelson, “If you could take Davis out, I would take care of your family forever, and your daughter would never want for anything,” the affidavit says.
Nelson said Shader asked if she knew how to get a gun and appeared quite serious about his request, according to police. Shader then told Nelson he would understand if she killed herself afterwards, the affidavit said.
In late June, Shader asked Nelson, who practices witchcraft, about a deadly poisonous plant called belladonna.

Why is it that when a custodial parent fails to provide for a child it is called neglect and is a criminal matter. But when a non custodial parent fails to provide it is called failure to support and is a civil matter?
