Police say missing New York woman may be in Sacramento

Sacramento police are asking the public to be on the lookout for a woman reported missing from Oneonta, N.Y., who might be in the Sacramento area.

Rose Gibson, 35, was last seen in the New York community at 8 a.m. April 17. Her last contact with law enforcement was in Indianapolis, where she was reported walking around one of the bus terminals incoherent and not wearing shoes, according to a Police Department news release.

Gibson's last contact with law enforcement was in Indianapolis, where she was reported walking around one of the bus terminals incoherent and not wearing shoes, according to The Sacramento Bee. She was last seen wearing a coat, a head wrap and one shoe. Her left foot was wrapped in gauze.

Sept 2015:

State Police arrested 36-year-old Rose Gibson of Herkimer for 2nd degree burglary & false personation. The arrest occurred after troopers responded to a report of a suspicious woman inside a home on Lake Street in the Town of Cooperstown; Gibson is accused of entering the unoccupied home without permission, consuming an alcoholic drink then sleeping on the sofa. After being discovered by a worker she then walked away, when troopers located her, she gave a false name and date of birth. Gibson was arraigned and was remanded to the Otsego County Jail on $2,500 cash bail or $5,000 bond.

"An Ilion woman is facing several charges following an alleged assault on a police officer.
In the course of an authorized arrest 37-year-old Rose Gibson resisted the arrest and later intentionally caused physical injury to an Ilion Police officer while in custody.
Her charges include Felony Assault, Obstructing Governmental Administration, Resisting Arrest and two counts of Harassment.

Gibson was arraigned in the Village of Ilion Court and was remanded to the Herkimer County Correctional Facility. Gibson is scheduled to return to the Village of Ilion Court on August 25, 2017 at 10 a.m."
