A Durham, North Carolina teen whose 'bad decisions' in the past led to him becoming homeless and broke, has turned his life around. Taken in by the Durham Rescue Mission Center, he says he's really changed and proved that when he found a $500 money order.
18-year-old Montrez Jeffries handed it straight in and the center managed to track down the grateful owner, who works two jobs to get by.
Although Jeffries said the moment he got to hand the money order back to its owner was priceless, and she rewarded him with gift cards, the center decided to try and raise $500 to provide him with a financial reward too. Members of the public donated over $3,000.

"I really have changed," said Jeffries. "A few years ago, I just would've cashed it and wouldn't have thought twice about it."
