GUILTY UK - Mariola 'Mijka' Cudworth, 36, Northbourne, Kent, 29 Apr 2015

Police are appealing for help in finding a woman who has not been seen since last Wednesday.

Officers are growing increasingly concerned for the welfare of Mariola Cudworth.

The 36-year-old was reported missing from her home in Northbourne near Deal on Thursday.

Mariola, who is also known as Mika, was last seen by her family in the early hours of Wednesday.

Investigating officer Detective Inspector Richard Vickery said: "It is important we speak to Mika to find out if she is OK. She has left behind her family and we understand it is out of character for her to go missing.

The husband of missing Deal woman Mariola Cudworth has been charged with her murder.

Mrs Cudworth, also known as Mijka, was reported missing from her home in Northbourne on Thursday, April 30.

Detectives charged Jonathon Cudworth, 34, of Northbourne in Deal, with murder.

They are now hunting for some of her possessions, including a mobile phone and two handbags.

It is thought some of Mrs Cudworth's belongings could have been thrown into the sea off Deal pier.

The first item they are looking for is a small black leather handbag with a shoulder strap.

The bag was around 6 inches in length and only big enough to hold a mobile phone, keys and purse, and had two zips - one down the side and one down the back. One of the zips may have been broken.

Jonathon Cudworth, 34, was remanded in custody and will next appear at Canterbury Crown Court on July 27.
