My first thought was suicide. I have read about a couple of people in similar jobs who have killed themselves in the past few months. I certainly hope I am wrong.<br>

Have you located a FB page for him?

This is BY FAR one of the safest neighbourhoods in Toronto if not the safest. From where he was last seen Lake Ontario is only a 3 minute walk but with the recent weather in Toronto the beach has been packed. There would have been plenty of people walking around on a Saturday at 10:30pm. I'm really hoping that he's just taking some time for himself and is found safe soon.

"Not much is being said about why there is a $50,000 reward offered for a local man who has been missing for about a week. Not even who posted the reward although a reasonable guess might be his boss, Morgan Stanley."

Nothing new today, just bumping this up for Murray.

    From Inside Toronto, May 8, 2015: http://www.insidetoronto.com/news-st...ng-east-ender/

Search unfruitful despite command post at Beach Avenue near the Balmy Beach Club, per above link.

Apologies, just catching up, this from Global posted Saturday, May 2:

    http://globalnews.ca/video/1975943/p...of-toronto-man

    * his car left in driveway at home (Lee Ave/Alfresco)
    * close friends say he was always there for them and the first to pick up the cheque.
    * uncertain what outerwear he might have had on that night

LE says he is a "family man". I wonder what relationships are involved.

With his vehicle left at home, it sounds like he may have walked to Queen and Leuty (or taken a cab if he was out with friends for drinks?).

Parking around this area is tough and it's less than a 5 minute walk to Queen and Leuty. Google maps marks the distance as 500 metres. The corner of Lee Ave and Alfresco Lawn is less than a minute walk to Lake Ontario.

JMO, but I think the Queen and Leuty reference in MSM is meant to indicate the approximate (major cross-streets) locale of the residence, which might be closer to the lake near Lee and Alfresco. From what I’ve read via upstream references, I don’t think Murray was seen anywhere else on CCTV or by individuals other than at his home that evening.

Praying for a positive outcome, hoping he’s just taking some time off from life in the big city.

Queen St is a major street but Leuty is actually much smaller (I grew up on this block and know it well). My impression from what I've read (in MSN and FB friends) is that he was last seen on Queen St near Leuty. There are a few great pubs in that area which is where you'll find plenty of locals on a Saturday night at !0:30pm. I should also mention that this is the same intersection where the Main St bus stop is. In 10 minutes you'd be at the subway (which could lead you quite a distance in no time).
