CA - Brianna Herrmann, 15, La Jolla, 28 April 2015

Family fears for missing 15-year-old California girl who disappeared from home 'with older man she met at the beach'

"A teenage girl from San Diego disappeared from her home along with her mother's car, and her family now fears she's being held against her will.

KTLA reports that 15-year-old Brianna Herrmann went missing over a week ago after sneaking away from home in her mother's car.

On Monday, that car was impounded by Los Angeles police after being abandoned, but Brianna was not there along with the car.

Wow, I live in SD and haven't heard anything about this!

I am not finding anything in any of our media here.

While I get why it's being pushed in LA with the car being found there, she's from here, he apparently was here at some point since they also met at the beach, pushing it here also could mean tips from someone she might have said something to about it all.

It looks like she lived in Florida potentially quite recently. Her lanyard gives the name of a charter school in Florida (and I know for sure there's no school by that name here) And she's got many other pictures with others also wearing it.

    Here's her FB https://www.facebook.com/brianna.herrmann

Here's the Bring Brianna Home page https://www.facebook.com/pages/Bring...6093?ref=br_rs

Her twitter (not used recently) https://twitter.com/briherrmann and her IG seems to have been pulled recently.

Hope she is found SOON !!!
It's not "exciting" or "romantic" ---it's scary and dangerous. There are unbelievably sick creeps out there, who disguise themselves as ordinary, friendly people ; until it's too late.
Wonder if they 'met' through social media ?

From the above link she was later sighted in Inglewood.

The mother describes him, Dean Henderson, as a local drug dealer.

Per the article, he told her he loves her; hopefully he won't hurt her. Hopefully she will be okay, I don't have too bad of a feeling about this at this point, jmo. I'm thinking she will be found safe soon.

Very curious why they've not named him.

Figured the first few days when they hadn't there must be some reason, but now it seems more unusual since it's been this long.

It's funny because to me that actually ups my worry!

I read it as he said he loved her the day he met her on the beach!

The man, she told the Daily Mail, had met Brianna on the beach four weeks before her disappearance and 'told her he loved her.'

    Ooh...NO BUENO!

    First - a name!

Police were concerned when 15-year-old Brianna Herrmann ran off to meet with a guy she had just met, identified as Dean Henderson, aka Timothy Dean Rivera. It's not just that he is an adult, almost 20-years-old.
Shortly after the car was found...at a relative's house:

That was about the time her mother, Rhonda Kauffman, received information that her daughter was locked in a room with only a mattress, at the home where the car had been found! Police checked the house and found a room fitting the description, even the mattress, but no Brianna. It is the home where relatives of the young man live, but tell Fox 11 that they haven't seen him.

    None of this sounds good...

People at the home where the car was left say they saw her briefly, but that she left. A private investigator has been helping the girl's family, getting information that she has been seen possibly being "forced" to prostitute herself in the L.A. Area.

Seems to me it's like he hit up a cute girl at the beach, said he loved her off the bat, briefly groomed her, and got her to steal the car and leave only to then lock her up and sell her.
