GUILTY NY - Boy Scout Leader Charged in Molestation

A Boy Scout leader from Queens has pleaded innocent to charges that he sexually abused a boy who was a member of his troop.

Police arrested scoutmaster Ronald Occhipinti at his home early today.

A Bayside scoutmaster who admitted in May he had molested two scouts was given the maximum 20 year sentence in Queens Supreme Court on Monday.

Ronald Occhipinti, 46, of East Hampton Boulevard, received the sentence for sexually abusing and taking sexually explicit photographs of two 13 year old scouts in his troop. The abuse took place in his home and at the Little Neck church where the troop met.
