In the past 18 months, the FBI's task force to track down Internet child *advertiser censored* traders and sexual predators in Connecticut has indicted 28 people, one of the agents heading the unit said, largely because of a facility opened last year to fight computer crime.

"It's been a great tool," FBI agent Kathy Schumaker said of the agency's cyber crime lab.

The Innocent Images Task Force, which uses the cyber lab and is supervised by Schumaker and another agent, is comprised of personnel from other agencies, including the U.S. Postal Inspection Service, Connecticut State Police and local police departments. Together they use the lab to conduct on-line investigations and computer examinations into child *advertiser censored* trading and sexual predators who prey on minors.
