AZ - River rafters discover wreckage of aircraft in Grand Canyon.
FLAGSTAFF, Ariz. Authorities have recovered the wreckage of a small aircraft that crashed at the Grand Canyon, and bones found in the cockpit and near the plane.
A group rafting down the Colorado River made the discovery earlier this month.

THERE ARE SO MANY PEOPLE WHO HAVE GONE MISSING IN SMALL PLANES AND NEVER FOUND.
I've always been curious how those in planes and automobiles just vanish into thin air, apparently it's in waterways.
Hopefully this brings closure to a family or two and law enforcement that's been looking for them

interestingly an ELT signal was emitted and reported by another pilot -- Park service initiated a flyover but didn't find the plane.....odd
