Details of Disappearance
Julian disappeared from La Marque, Texas on October 16, 1998. A friend dropped him off at Etheridge Stadium so he could buy tickets for the homecoming game. He had just gotten paid and was carrying $200 in cash. Although Julian occasionally spent the night with friends without telling his family, he had never gone a day without getting in touch with his loved ones. He has never been heard from again.

Julian had a job at a local cable company at the time of his disappearance, and was known as a talented baseball player. One of his brothers, Michael Sam, is a famous American football player. Some agencies give the date of Julian's disappearance as October 16, 2000. Although he is classified as a runaway, Julian's family believes he's deceased.

La Marque police reopened the investigation into Julian’s disappearance after getting reports that people had seen him in the area. “We think he left on his own free will and we feel strongly he is alive,” the police chief told the Texas City Sun in October 2000.

JoAnn told the Sun that she also believed he was still alive. “He was at that age of rebellion,” she said, suggesting he had run away from home. She told the newspaper that she wanted him to come home or at least call someone in the family to let them know he was OK.

Michael Sam is enlisting Tyler Henry's help to find his brother on tonight's Hollywood Medium With Tyler Henry.

On the episode, Michael tells Tyler that his brother Julian went missing back in 1999 and that he and his little sister were the last people to see him.

"Julian used to always wait by me and my little sister for the bus," Michael explains. "As the bus came close, he went in the back of the house and he waved at us and we waved back."

That's the last time Michael and his sister saw Julian. Michael explains, "It was like he vanished."

Two years after Julian went missing, they pronounced him dead but Michael wants to know if Tyler can tell him any information.

I don't think this is a match, but I'll record it here to bump up the case:

The National Missing and Unidentified Persons System (NamUs)

Reconstruction looks eerily similar (to me) but nothing else matches up. Location is way off and the cause of death is suicide - that doesn't seem to fit with a lad who just got paid and wanted to see the homecoming game! Even the PMI and the estimated year of death don't match up on the NAMUS listing.

I challenge anyone to find anything more substantial. Julian must be out there somewhere.
