    FL - Michael Bolden, 5, Tampa, 31 May 2015

    Michael Bolden

Deputies searching for autistic boy missing in Plant City
The Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office is searching for a 5-year-old boy who went missing from a farmers market in Plant City.

The boy’s elderly caregiver told deputies that Bolden was last seen at 9 a.m. and that he searched for the boy for nearly an hour before calling the sheriff’s office.
Sheriff’s officials said that the caregiver was distraught and confused, and that so far the facts on the circumstances of the boy’s disappearance are “inconsistent.” Deputies were working with that caregiver to continue gathering information, officials said.
Bolden’s mother told deputies that her son is severely autistic and can only communicate via “baby talk.”

Before you criticize someone, you should walk a mile in their shoes. That way, when you criticize them, you're a mile away and you have their shoes.

"When from a long distant past nothing persists, after the people are dead, after things are broken and scattered, still alone, more persistent, more faithful, the smell and taste of things remain poised a long, long time like souls, ready to remind us, waiting, hoping for their moment amid the ruins of all the rest, and bear unfaltering in the tiny and almost impalpable drop of their essence the vast structure of recollection."

PALM BEACH COUNTY, Fla. - GPS monitoring will soon be available as a safeguard for more children with Autism. The electronic tracking devices will now be federally funded. South Florida parents with children on the Autism spectrum believe the move will save lives

A week after announcing that the federal government will pay for tracking devices for kids with autism, officials are offering more details about how families can access the technology.

Police departments nationwide will be able to make the tracking devices available to children in their communities who are at risk of wandering using money available through the Justice Department’s Byrne grant program, officials at the federal agency said

I can't say that I'm surprised at this outcome.

He is precious in every way. He looks like a big boy in the nice plaid shirt. I'm highly interested in his vaccinations records due to the Autism diagnosis.

Michael Bolden has a very interesting expression. Notice around his eyes is wrinkled skin and puffiness that most 5yo do not possess. There are dark circles under his eyes. Is there a look of troubled years of confusion and chaos on his face seen through his eyes? His eyebrows are also furrowed.

Eileen73, that is quite astute of you to point out that autistic children appear to be lured to bodies of water.

It hurts that Michael Bolden was lost and found too late. May his soul rise high where there is no more pain. My Sweet Lord, Oh, my Lord.

Vaccinations have nothing to do with Autism.

So "elderly caregiver" is actually his father?
