Have you seen missing Mansfield teenager?

Amber Peat, 13, is described as white with long dark brown hair. She is around 4 ft tall and of a petite build with brown eyes and a tiny scar above her lip. She was last seen wearing a black Puma zip up top, purple trainers and blue jeans.

Before you criticize someone, you should walk a mile in their shoes. That way, when you criticize them, you're a mile away and you have their shoes.

"When from a long distant past nothing persists, after the people are dead, after things are broken and scattered, still alone, more persistent, more faithful, the smell and taste of things remain poised a long, long time like souls, ready to remind us, waiting, hoping for their moment amid the ruins of all the rest, and bear unfaltering in the tiny and almost impalpable drop of their essence the vast structure of recollection."

Missing Persons Coordinator Kirsty Gittings said: “If you know where Amber is or have any information please call us on 101, quoting incident 56 of 30th May.”

“Amber, if you are reading this appeal please get in touch with us or your parents. They are very worried about you.”

I had forgotten about that game. Some days I loathe the internet. Children get enough ideas via word of mouth and out of their own heads without a zillion trolls aiding and abetting them.

Sadly I don't think that's the case at all and I think some of these 'dare' fads are nowhere near as prolific as the mucky media makes out, In fact, made worse and spread wider by them.

Hope this girl is found soon.

Amber Peat: Police concerned for missing Mansfield girl

Amber Peat was last seen at her home in Bosworth Street in Mansfield at about 17:30 BST on Saturday.
Her father Danny Peat said hundreds of people had helped search for his daughter since she left home without any money or a mobile phone.
Officers believe the teenager, who is about 4ft (1.21m) tall, is still in the Mansfield area.
    'We are petrified'
Despite media appeals and a huge social media campaign, there has been no sign of her.
Mr Peat said her disappearance was completely out of character.
"She's a real home girl. She doesn't go out - all she wants to do is read a book. She would read 24 hours a day if you let her," he said.

There has just been a news conference with the parents too but cant find a video link to that yet

Amber has no access to any social media as parents didnt feel she was ready for it yet. Her mum and stepdad married 2 years ago and they had just got back from a holiday in Cornwall, she was asked to clean out the coolbox, she refused and marched out the door. Thats the last time they saw her at 5.30pm.

I have a bad feeling about this don't know if it's a sinister feeling or a tragic feeling but this is not looking good ... I dont believe she's just wandering around somewhere or being hidden by a friend etc ... I'm thinking there's 3 main options. Family? I suppose from experience it has to be considered? Went off and been taken by someone or went off and maybe fell in a body of water? Down something? ...
