Websleuths Post of the Day 6/2 FindHG WINSWELCOME TO THE WEBSLEUTHS POST OF THE DAY FOR TUESDAY JUNE 2ND 2015
Ahh but first, time travel with me back to yesterday, a day filled with palindromes. At least one palindrome. Enough to win the post of the day from Donjeta:
Great nominations but this one from Donjeta has got to be the one. Very clever
Wheaton College announced Sunday it is removing the name of former U.S. Speaker of the House J. Dennis Hastert from its Center for Economics, Government, and Public Policy named in his honor.
Dennis sinned. And backwards.http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Palindrome
palindrome is a word, phrase, number, or other sequence of characters which reads the same backward or forward. Allowances may be made for adjustments to capital letters, punctuation, and word dividers. Famous examples include "A man, a plan, a canal, Panama!", "Amor, Roma", "race car", "taco cat", "Was it a car or a cat I saw?" and "No 'x' in Nixon".
Honorable mentions go to
From DR3AM3R in the Freddy Gray thread.
And Beach in the Caylee Anthony case: http://www.websleuths.com/forums/sho...0#post11816480
So today we labor on friends and work toward the one goal everyone wants in their life and that is to stand up and scream with pride, ''IT'S ME!!! I WON THE WEBSLEUTHS POST OF THE DAY"
Go forth and hunt for that post of the day.
