I have never understood the horror with which some creationists greet the idea that we *advertiser censored* sapiens might share an evolutionary line with these remarkable apes.
if your faith tells you that God (rather than natural selection) instigated the branching off of humans 100,000 years ago, so be it. Nobody can prove you wrong.
But who or whatever was the instigator, there's no shame in being cousins to chimpanzees.
