Car of missing woman found near Orting
Searchers were trying Tuesday to find a 28-year-old Enumclaw woman who disappeared under suspicious circumstances.

Nicole White’s family reported her missing Saturday. A passerby on Monday spotted the woman’s Dodge Neon over an embankment in the 26000 block of 70th Avenue East near Orting.

Search dogs went to a nearby pond but Pierce County sheriff’s divers on Tuesday found no sign of White.

“There are some suspicious circumstances to her disappearance,” sheriff’s spokesman Ed Troyer said. “We’re hoping for the best but expecting the worst.”

Glad to see this on here. I don't know Nicole but my best friend is a family member. They are all worried sick. Hope she's found safe very soon!
 
When they say "over an embankment", it sounds like a crash. I wonder if someone ran her off the road? No scent for dogs to follow?

I heard the dogs followed her scent to a pond but nothing was found.

I am local to this, and the comments on the FB news article by close family/friends are stating media got that statement wrong, and she in FACT did know the guy. Still doesn't make sense as to why they are not releasing his info though?

Search dogs on the scene led detectives to a nearby pond. However, no sign of White was found.
“We are hoping for the best, but expecting probably something sinister happened,” Troyer said.
White’s family has posted fliers with her photos all over the area and are hoping she is OK.
“If you are somewhere hidden, or being held and you’re by a TV, remember, Nicole, we love you, we will not give up on you. Please don’t give up, don’t give up,” said her uncle, Tom Jones.
Anyone who has information on the disappearance is encouraged to call 911 or Crime Stoppers at 800-222-TIPS.
 
Pierce County investigators brought in FEMA-trained search dogs Tuesday night to aid in the search, according to a report by KIRO-TV in Seattle which noted that White's car was found a little over 7 miles away from the bar and that it was "hidden near a trail leading to an abandoned rock quarry in Graham."
