    I did a search and this missing person is listed in Namus and also the Ohio Attorney General’s Office, but she does not have a thread on Websleuths. So I’m creating a thread for this missing person on Websleuths.

    Circumstances: Melissa Blevins was last seen going to the store after leaving her home in Portsmouth, Ohio on February 7, 2010. Melissa Blevins never returned and has never been heard from again. Melissa was reported missing by her family on February 21, 2010. Melissa may be in Kentucky. Melissa’s mother doesn’t believe she would have abandoned her young daughter.

    She told her boyfriend that she was going to the store and did not return. She left behind an 8 year-old daughter which is something her mother claimed she would never do.

    An article in the Columbus Dispatch announced that the task force investigating the disappearances and deaths of missing women in southern Ohio has created an email account for folks to send email tips.

    Investigators create email tipline in search for missing women

    A task force investigating a string of potentially-linked missing-persons cases and deaths in southern Ohio has added another way for people to submit tips: an email account.

    The Ross County sheriff’s office said today that tipsters can now send information to detectives via a findme@rosssheriff.com email address.

    A hotline of 740-774-FIND(3463) had already been established.
