Before you criticize someone, you should walk a mile in their shoes. That way, when you criticize them, you're a mile away and you have their shoes.

According to a friend of Jessica "Hewitt's two month marriage was on the rooks and that she had left her husband Friday."

Missing since Monday, troubled marriage after two months....this isn't looking good. LE obviously pinged on the husband pretty quickly so there must be some substance to the "troubled marriage" statement.

I wish we had more information and there was more media coverage.

Has anyone seen anything about what she does for work or what she would've been doing on Monday?

"Hobbie Hewitt was on the scene of where the car was found before JPD was, officials said.

[Chief of Police] Vance said that Hobbie Hewitt had some knowledge that the car was there, but that police were not inferring anything from that information."

The husband has been questioned and released. I do not understand how HH arrived at the scene of her car without prior knowledge of where it was.

Just thinking out loud, it seems that a GPS tracking device in the car or on her cellphone (which I believe was found very near the car) could possibly explain this?

Police release preliminary autopsy results for missing woman

FLOWOOD, Miss. —Preliminary autopsy results are complete for Jessica Danielle Hewitt, whose body was found Wednesday, two days after she was reported missing.

No signs of trauma to the body or strangulation were found, Flowood police said.

Hewitt’s body was found in a grassy area on the bank of the Pearl River, about three-quarters of a mile east of the levee in Flowood. Her family reported her missing Monday night after she failed to pick up her child at day care, Jackson police said.

Someone spotted Hewitt's 2013 Lincoln MKS on Tuesday, parked at Fortification Street and Old River Place. When officers arrived, they saw Hewitt's husband walking out of the woods, authorities said. He was questioned and released, police said.

Police are awaiting the completion of a toxicology report and an official report from the state medical examiner on Hewitt’s cause of death.

No sign of trauma or strangulation ?

Could this be a suicide ?? It doesn't seem likely.......but....?

The article says she was found in a grassy area along the bank, so I guess that rules out drowning. If she was the one that left the relationship last Friday, why would she do this on Monday or Tuesday ?
