There were bizarre allegations Friday in the trial of a man accused of killing his estranged wife. 56-year-old Lester Volrie is accused of killing Joyce Volrie (pictured below and two the right) in June of last year. Joyce died after she was shot and left for dead on the side of Walden Road in Beaumont.
Beaumont police investigator Jesus Taimao testified Friday that Lester admitted to hiring a hit man, but in a written statement, Lester said the hit man was supposed to kill Joyces sister Geraldinenot Joyce.
Volrie said he believed Joyce and her sister Geraldine had a gay, incestual relationship.
