Tropical storm Bill had turned the road into a river as Roho Hartman tried to make his way home in Ardmore, Oklahoma. He became trapped as his vehicle stalled.

Luckily for him, country superstar Blake Shelton was passing by, rescued Roho and his vehicle and gave him a lift home. Excited Roho phoned ahead to warn his wife:

I said, 'You wouldn't believe it, Blake Shelton pulled me out. And he's going to go on and bring me on home!' I said, 'You better slick up, we'll be there in just a minute,'" Hartman said.
