Lawrence County Common Pleas J. Craig Cox sentenced him Tuesday to 6 to 12 years in a state correctional institution, followed by eight years of probation.

Twaddle, who has recovered from her injuries, attended the proceeding and gave a statement that she would like to see him get help and treatment, according to assistant district attorney William Flannery, who prosecuted the case.
