Both items are from Groupon inventory, around 19 Dollars each. Can be sold in flea markets too, but there's one in a million chance that they may be bought online as XO Bracelets (The patterns goes XOXOXO) are on the market by late 2008. I wrote this to SCPD too, I don't know what they did. The picture quality is horrible. Groupon may help them what exactly the items are and where they were distributed. If the toddler's jewelleries are also from Groupon inventory, I would definitely look to see if there is credit card account purchasing these items.

Thousands must be in circulation, and hundred alternatives how the mom got those, but I would give Groupon a shot. Both items appear to be from Groupon, may be there's an account buying all these..

"9 Murder Victims Whose Names Remain a Mystery"

"6. GIRL WITH THE PEACH TATTOO

On Long Island in the summer of 1997, authorities recovered a headless torso of a female murder victim. The absence of the rest of her body made identification next to impossible. Yet one detail set her remains apart - on her left breast was the tattoo of a peach, with a single droplet of juice dripping out".

The greatest trick the Devil ever played was convincing the world he didn't exist.

Three candles that illume every darkness: truth, nature, knowledge.

"There, isn't this a beautiful piece of cloth!", exclaimed the swindlers, as they described the lovely design that didn't exist.

The Rubbermaid container is a very common household item, could have been purchased at any number of stores. Wal-Mart, K-Mart, Home Depot all carry Rubbermaid products. Many other retailers, too.

home depot is the likely first choice, then walmart--but I think home depot used to carry the green version, walmarts was blue

Criminal minds. That's a great idea. Might be out of our powers and finances unfortunately. We are working different angles however to bring peaches to people's attention.

    Thanks!

I am trying to think back to 1997. Back then we did not have many Home Depots, IIRC. We still had Pergament stores and Caldor stores that sold plastic containers. We, also, had many more small mom & pop hardware stores.

May not be very important, but FWIW

Personally I think Amanda and her mother fit the time line of being the dead mother and toddler, but I would like to know more about Jane doe #3 like body type and height. But also the woman is believed to have fled to Egypt. So unless there is DNA from the father of Amanda there is nothing to compare it with.

Thanks for the article. How come they never found Peaches skull, limbs? Are they somewhere along the barrier islands, or somewhere else? does they killer still have them? They should try publicizing again in East Hartford, someone who lived there knew Peaches, and also in Bristol as well as NY. I bet at the time when they first were trying to identify her no one realized she was missing yet, but it's been 20 years and someone is looking for her.

Is it possible to contact the Bronx and LI maternity wards to see if anyone (doctors/nurses/lactation specialist) recognizes her tattoo for when she had her c-section? Also, if a child isn't looking for their mother after all this time maybe the orphanages in these areas might be helpful? Depending on where the tattoo was placed on her breast, it may have been something she showed off. Thoughts?
