Domestic cat unfazed as mountain lion comes a calling

Tom Mabe of Boulder, Colorado, caught a video of a large mountain lion in his backyard, outside his terrace doors, staring at his domestic cat.

It's smile-making to watch Tom's cat being completely unfazed and cool as the lion softly paws at the glass, trying to get in.

Not only that though. In the background, you hear his wife enter the room and with barely-concealed panic ask, "Tommy, where are the kids?"

The very naughty Tom replies casually, "In the backyard".

He lets her know quickly they're actually safe in bed, but it's amazing how quickly poor mom laughs and forgives him. She must be used to his humor!

Look at those eyes on the cougar. Wow! That's a big healthy animal too. I hope those kitties are indoors always.

Looks like a ''ragdoll'' cat -- so placid and not easily flummoxed.....and not one ounce of aggression....cool video
