Police: Two women died after using methamphetamine with Monett man

Charges of second degree murder and delivery of a controlled substance will be sought against Alexander Calhoun, 35.

According to the police investigation, Calhoun admitted supplying methamphetamine to both women, using it with them and leaving both of them alone after they suffered "a severe reaction" to the drug.

The deaths of both women were reported by 911 calls between 5:53 and 6:04 p.m. on Saturday. The body of Anna K. Smith, 37, was found by her husband in the kitchen of their home.
