it would depend on what they would want to charge him with. They have proof that he had sex with her. What they don't know is if it was consensual sex or if it was rape. There also has been no proof that he murdered her. If it would be first degree murder than there would be no statute of limitations but if it was second degree than the statute of limitations would be 6 years, if it was 3rd or 4th than it would be 5 years. He was a rapist and would only rape teenagers until more recently.
