Think I messed up on the date. The car wreck was 5/29/15. Tried to change it but don't know how! :/ Sorry folks!

The Sheriff has a different spelling of her name than KXII, too. I fixed both. Thanks for starting this thread.
 
She has a bit of an interesting record, though nothing too recent. She had a DWI in 2013. My theory is that she decided to leave the vehicle to avoid additional DUI/DWI charges. Now she's either be in hiding until it blows over (she thinks) or has succumbed to injuries close to the car.

I don't get it, the Sherriffs Poster says June 29th. I don't think you did mess up on the date

I think that there are several MP cases where dogs and search teams were used but the MP was still found close to their vehicle, deceased. But I'm drawing a complete blank as to who those people were, maybe WS can help me?

ETA: search dogs tracked Teleka Patrick's scent to the road but she was found in a pond 100 yards from the car 6 months later.

Also there was that young guy who went missing on Valentine's Day after buying flowers for his GF and then having a wreck. He was found in water too.

There is an interesting dynamic between her and her sister, who appears to have custody of her two kids. It also looks like the father is in Iraq. I hope she turns up in a hospital somewhere - the fact that dogs did not find a trail is concerning, like she was picked up by someone. Maybe she is just recuperating somewhere with an unsuspecting friend and neither of them have any idea the police are looking for her. I wish there was an indication on whether her belongings were in the car, and whether the cell phone is also missing.
 
I don't know what water may be in the area of the wreck but I hope LE checks it out. She cannot hide, alive, forever, if that is what she is trying to do.

Lamar County Sheriff’s Officers continue to search for leads to locate Ali J. Burress. The 28-year old Paris native woman went missing around 1:30 a.m. last Monday morning. Her call to emergency personnel reporting she had crashed her silver Toyota car into a ditch near a corn field somewhere off State Highway 24 was the last anyone heard of her.

“It is strange,” said Lamar County Sheriff’s Officer Joe Tuttle. “The damage to the car was minor, and the air bags didn’t even deploy. We have searched the area with K-9 units, volunteers, air support…lots of resources.” Until they receive any new leads, the LCSO has exhausted the active ground search.

Very interesting that we finally know how much damage was done to the car. Since it sounds unlikely she was seriously injured, this leaves us with voluntary missing to avoid possible DUI charges or maybe a new possibility that she was ran off the road by someone and kidnapped? I'd generally take the latter theory with a huge grain of salt but she has been missing a while. Hoping she'll turn up with no idea people have been looking for her.

Since her disappearance late in June, the search for Ali Burress, 28, will no longer be confined to the southern area of Lamar County.

Chief Deputy Jeff Springer said he had no reason to believe Burress was still located in that area of the county, but assured the public the Lamar County Sheriff’s office would be pursuing all possible leads.

“We’re checking leads, checking phone records,” said Springer, “we just don’t believe she’s in that area.”
