Hello everyone,

We just wanted to bring to your attention some reporting errors in an article that's been circulating about the Daytona victims.

The article states that the bodies were "set on fire" and that the killer decided to "urinate and defecate" on his victims. Here's the link: http://www.topix.com/forum/county/montgomery-md/TKI58KE1CVRJQHOLM

We vetted the article and it's not accurate. We reviewed the police reports and there's no mention of burned bodies or defecation. They don't look like they've been redacted or doctored.

Hope this helps. Thanks!

WOW--Thanks for the info--I wonder why he would ad-lib such a thing with his rep and years of service(unless he never wrote that piece)--Perhaps an email to him would get us more info---And are you confident they gave you the original reports?

Perhaps someone might have used his credibility and wrote the article? From what we've gathered on the reports, which don't appear to be doctored, there's no mention of those acts.

You know, this strikes a chord with something I read this morning about LE finding the body of a pregnant Daytona Beach (Volusia County) missing person (Shaquierra Pinckney) in a cemetery in Putnam County:

Pinckney drove away from her residence on Berkshire Road on Aug. 30 and her body was found Sept. 3 by three gravediggers in a remote cemetery off Federal Point Road in East Palatka, police said.

One of the men who found her said Pinckney's nude body was partially burned

The article mentions she had advertised herself on a website in the escort section with the name "Poison" - with the (now) sad and ironic statement that she had "0 tolerance for violence". :(
