White was formally charged with two counts of homicide, as well as several other charges stemming from the July 13 deaths of his estranged wife, Carol D. White, 44, and her mother, 81-year old Floris C. Lewis. The two women were found in the early morning hours that day shot to death at 164 Fairway Place in Granville Township.

Co-defendant, Jason M. Kuhns, 32, also was arraigned earlier in the day on Friday and charged with two counts of criminal conspiracy to commit homicide. Preliminary hearings have not yet been scheduled and both men were denied bail...

Mifflin County District Attorney Dave Molek said investigators believe White first shot his wife in the head from a nearby wooded area while she was standing outside, then approached her and fired a second time. "Travis shot her point blank in the face"... Upon entering the house, police discovered Lewis in the bed of the front bedroom. She had sustained multiple gunshot wounds to her head and arms.

Homicide and other related charges against two local men were bound over to court for trial Tuesday following a preliminary hearing presided over by Magisterial District Judge Jack Miller...

Mifflin County District Attorney Chris Torquato said he has not made any decision as to whether his office will seek the death penalty in either case.

A man charged in connection with the July 13, 2015, deaths of his estranged wife and mother-in-law pleaded not guilty to homicide charges on Tuesday...

In March, Mifflin County District Attorney Chris Torquato filed a "notice of aggravating circumstances" with the court, opening the door to pursue the death penalty against White.
