Megyn Kelly has just reported on this breaking story. She reported that six people have been shot and two people are dead including the shooter
 
Police investigating shooting at Lafayette movie theater, multiple injuries reported.

LAFAYETTE, La. -- Gov. Bobby Jindal has confirmed there has been a shooting at a Lafayette movie theater Thursday evening.

Police haven't released any official information on the amount of people shot, but Jindal did confirm that there was a shooting at the Grand Theater in Lafayette.

Fox news: 6 shots fired by an older gentleman. People are injured and shooter is dead.

Between 6-10 shots fired. Unconfirmed shooter shot himself.
 
Megyn Kelly is interviewing a Police Sgt. who says between 2-3 fatalities and between 6-10 injured. The shooting began at 7:30 CST. Police Sgt not prepared to say if gunman is among the dead. "It's too early to tell if it is related to ISIS"
 
According to the Daily Advertiser, the shooting occurred 20 minutes into the the 7 p.m. screening of "Train Wreck" when what witness Katie Domingue described as "an older white man" stood up and began shooting. Lafayette Police Chief Jim Craft said the shooting was contained to one theater room.

City Marshal Brian Pope told The Daily Advertiser that six people were injured. According to Pope, the shooter died after he "turned the gun on himself."

What a crazy thing for LE to say -- to have ISIS on the table at all. Odds would be strongly against it being related to ISIS -- it's far more likely to be a far-right wing white male, as many recent studies have shown.

The officer was responding to a a question posed by Megyn Kelly. In this new environment not an unreasonable question to ask.
 
"In this new environment" where? Oh -- on Fox.
 
Yeah, the culture/environment of fear, paranoia, xenophobia, and Islamophobia is hardly new in North America.
