GA - Macon, BlkMale body in Ocmulgee River, Jul'15 - Winston Gamble
I would imagine and hope it will not take too long to identify this person, whose body was found in the Ocmulgee River, but so far authorities seem not to have been able, so thought I would bring this here, in case WSers have leads:
Body in Ocmulgee was wearing “Mary Persons Prom 2015” bracelet
...Bibb County Coroner Leon Jones has yet to identify the badly decomposed body, but discovered more information during the autopsy Monday morning. Sunday, Jones learned the man was wearing a black and gold rubber bracelet that said “Prom 2015” on it, but uncovered the words "Mary Persons" when it was cleaned during the procedure. Mary Persons High School is in neighboring Monroe County. ...
Bibb coroner: man's body discovered in Ocmulgee River
...Lieutenant Sean DeFoe, of the Bibb County Sheriff's Office, says the man's body was found about 300 feet south of the Second Street Bridge....
Apparently there is no clothing, no tattoos, etc., to help with identification, and it seems that no one fitting the description has been reported missing recently from Monroe County, where the school named on the prom bracelet is located. RIP to this as-yet-unidentified man, prayers for those who love him and will receive sad news.

A tidbit more of information in an update from yesterday:
...Officials couldn't identify the body from fingerprints because of its severe decomposition. The autopsy started today, but Jones says officials will need to keep running tests. ...

He has been identified...and apparently they were able to use fingerprint identification, after all.
Body found in Ocmulgee with Mary Persons prom bracelet is 52-year-old man
The body was identified Wednesday...as a 52-year-old man, who was believed to be homeless.
Winston Gamble, who previously lived in Titusville, Fla., checked himself out of a Macon nursing home on Anthony Road about a year ago, said Bibb County Coroner Leon Jones....
...foul play is not suspected in the death, Jones said....
