Found Alive Australia - EL, 18, Bendigo, Victoria, 29 July 2015 *Arrest*

Bad feeling about people going on runs and not coming back. :( Hard to plan your illicit getaway with only a runner's gear.

Really hoping she's just injured herself. Please be wearing brightly coloured clothes and stay in one place E!!

This is very close to me. I read that E has epilepsy so it is quite possible she could have had a fit, but I feel they would have found her by now if this were the case. One Tree Hill is quite a large bushy area so it would be a tough search. There's a large tower, also it is a well known hangout spot. I myself have hung out at this spot with friends. I wouldn't want to get lost there. Very concerning that her phone has been switched off, last known contact with her was via snapchat.

More than 60 people are involved in the search effort, which is focused in a 100 hectare area to the west of One Tree Hill lookout, where the 18-year-old dentistry student sent a photo and text messages to friends yesterday afternoon after 3pm.

Inspector Talbot said Ms Langford's epilepsy may have led to her becoming lost.

"She has a medical condition and we don't know whether that has impacted on her.

“It is unclear whether she has taken her medication - she needs to take but it could have a factor on her being disoriented as to time or place… Whether she might have wandered off a track or fallen down a gully," he said.

I really hope they find her safe and sound x

Police hold grave fears for missing jogger EL, 18, in Bendigo
"EL suffers from epileptic seizures and needs medication. The seizures can lead to moments of disorientation and extreme fatigue. She has now been missing for close to 24 hours and we are obviously concerned for her wellbeing."
The search for EL resumed on Thursday.

Earlier, Senior Sergeant John Dalton told media that Ms L's mobile phone was off.

"We want to be able to discount the fact that she might be sitting at a friend's place with her phone off," he said.

Ms L's friends and family are also helping in the search and are handing out flyers with her photo around town, the Bendigo Advertiser has reported. A group of more than 15 students and staff from the nearby La Trobe University campus, many of whom knew Ms L, are also assisting with the search.

It is understood her parents are overseas, but "waiting by the phone".

I just watched the new PC. It doesn't seem they've broadened the search area beyond OTH so I'm thinking they believe she hasn't been taken from that area. JMO. It is absolutely freezing here at the moment, got to below minus one here last night and is already nearly just as cold right now at 2:40pm! The defence force are joining in on the search. Police say they are not suspecting foul play at this time. Let's hope for good news before night time falls, I'm not sure how E would go another night out in these freezing conditions :(

So glad she's been found alive, but sad that something bad seems to have happened.

Is it normally so dark there at 5.30pm Fruit Tingles?

At the same time as they issued a statement that they found EL, Victoria police repeated a call for any information. I strongly suspect we are going to hear of an arrest soon...
