Forager's Map

Thread #1 Thread #2

"Investigators are interested in talking to anyone who was near the area of East 1st Street and St. Louis Avenue in Loveland on the night of June 3 between 10 and 11 p.m. They also want to speak with a person driving a white Ford SUV on May 18 near Weld County roads 72 and 15. The task force believes that person may have important information about the homicide of John Jacoby while he rode his bike."

Thanks for the new thread Bessie!
I hate that there is no news. Nothing on the NoCo Serial shooter/ killer! Not another word about the very distinctive pickup truck. Just nothing.
Nothing on NS! No matter if he is or isn't tied to the NoCo shootings! He slaughtered his grandparents with an ax FGS!! He is, at the very, very least a terrorist sympathizer and supporter!!! Just nothing!

Every.single.time. I see that map it takes my breath away! Forager has done an amazing job at putting everything together!
All the research, timeline, weapons ideas, Foxfires insight. We really pulled together as a group. Great job everyone!! ( even if I am terribly frustrated at this point)

Agree SugarQueen, teamwork, and thanx for the kind words. The organization of Margarita25's timeline and Forager's map; Attachment 76099, really puts everything into perspective, imo. I understand your frustration and feel your pain.
I try to focus on the positives; the ceasing of the shootings, the end of unsuspecting innocent victims lives lost or injured, and the possibility that a very dangerous serial predator may have been apprehended and eventually brought to justice.

Thank you for the new thread, Bessie.

Just throwing an idea out there: What about the possibility of a drone?

I'd have thought that anyone with the smarts and experience to acheive the technical tour de force of shootting cars and/or people from remote controlled planes would have much better things to do with their time.

Or did you mean to suggest that someone might be getting their husband to do the shootings?

It does seem mechanical, the idea of all these shots in the same area. Going back to first impressions, it seems like bold set plays, like practice or practiced routines, with a wide variety of approaches. Could it be possible cctv monitoring in the area is dependable or there's some way for controlling for the environment, something that provides an overview, like a drone and a team perhaps at work?

(Ok, this gun drone stuff (lots of stuff on the net) is freaking me the **** out)

Eta: an article about ISIS and drones, for example:
http://www.rt.com/news/242437-us-bombs-isis-drone/

"“I think it does suggest they’ll get more and more sophisticated equipment,” he added, referring to the drone incident. "And what they want is the US to engage them, and the US is playing their game.”

Speaking with the Daily Beast, Christopher Harmer, a senior naval analyst with the Middle East Security Project in Washington, DC, added that even low-tech drones could be fashioned into deadly devices.

“They don’t have reusable attack drones, but I think it is just a matter of time before they jury-rig surveillance drones into flying IEDs,” he said. “Basically, they could turn them into little kamikaze drones.”"

Catching up.

Wow. I had never heard of that even being possible until now.

Very Scary and I am sure illegal because of the danger involved.

I too am frustrated with the lack of news. If it is ISIS related then the media silence is just foolish and irresponsible IMO.

It seems because of political correctness, they protect the criminals and terrorists and yet let innocent folks go unprepared to become the next targets.

The media and our government needs to be screaming it from the rooftops if they know what is going on. They owe it to the innocent future victims. I will never understand it.

Foragers map is just incredible. Its hard to avoid a main road like I25 but I would sure avoid it until we know for sure the random window shootings/shatterings have stopped.

Great Map Forager! :)

We drive I-25, but way south of the shootings.
It is really scary though that this was happening so often.
I hope they apprehended the shooter.

IMOO.

Who killed John Jacoby? Who killed William Connole?

Who killed John Jacoby? Who killed William Connole?

Why did investigators deny finding a shell cartridge at the William Connole murder crime scene?

Now, the leaders of a task force looking into these events has shared a letter with the public maintaining that there's no evidence that the shatterings and killings are connected — and taking the media to task for panicking the public.

The letter, on view below in its entirety, was issued under the names of Windsor Police Chief John Michaels, Loveland Police Chief Luke Hecker, Larimer County Sheriff Justin Smith and Weld County Sheriff Steve Reams.

The missive begins with references to the shocking nature of violent and seemingly random crime, the experience of the law enforcers looking into the assorted cases and outreach to the FBI after seeing similarities to the wounding of Milliken's Cori Romero (she was shot in the neck) and the slaying of Windsor's John Jacoby (he was apparently riding his bike when he was gunned down).

Shortly thereafter, William "Bill" Connole was slain near an intersection in Loveland. But while the task force is convinced that the Romero and Jacoby incidents have ties, "we
cannot conclusively say whether [the Connole] shooting is related or not."

How wonderfully weird are the things this thread exposes you to! That clip of the kid's pistol packing drone was an eye opener. I felt a vague sense of panic as the implications sunk in. What mayhem could be wrought.

Fortunately Youtube started playing the next video in its drone category: Drone Fails. A zillion of them. Very reassuring.
